Dr. Shah is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He completed his post-graduate training at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He has published many articles in the Medical Digest and many other medical journals. He has lived in Warner Robins since 1985. His children were raised here and educated in the Houston Co. school system. He is very active in the community and an avid tennis player.
Dr. Shah is very active in the Medical Association of Georgia. He is involved in the Friends of the Library and the Houston Volunteer Clinic here in Warner Robins.
Dr. Sekhar is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has been in practice here at Physicians for Women since August 2001. He completed his Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois and his Fellowship in Pelvic Surgery also at St. Francis Hospital.
Dr. Sekhar volunteers at the Houston Volunteer Clinic and is active in the community.
Dr. Vella has brought her experience in obstetrics and gynecology, and extensive knowledge through her research on postoperative complications following cesarean section, ectopic pregnancy diagnosis and management, as well as any gynecological problems and complete obstetrical care.
Cindy Foster graduated with honors from Frontier Nursing University with a Master’s Degree in Nursing. She received her certification from the American Midwifery Certification Board. She is also a member of the Georgia Association of Certified Nurse Midwives and the American College of Certified Nurse Midwives. She is happily married and has two daughters.
Cindy strongly believes in the philosophy of patient-centered evidence based care and assisting each woman to have the labor and birth experience she desires. She enjoys providing compassionate individualized care with an emphasis on pregnancy, childbirth, annual exams, and contraceptive counseling. She also provides full scope midwifery services including natural labor support and waterbirth.
Holly has a Master’s degree in Nursing Science from Frontier Nursing University and is certified in midwifery by the American College of Nurse Midwives. She approaches women’s health care with the philosophy of prevention, education, and working with the client to meet her health care needs throughout the seasons of life.
Holly empowers and partners with women to create the birth experience they desire, whether it be natural birth or with the use of an epidural. She will provide full scope midwifery care including prenatal visits and education, bedside natural labor support, breastfeeding education and support, postpartum care, annual exams, contraception, and gynecological care.
She enjoys getting to know her clients and is zealous about providing compassionate evidenced based services to women of all ages.
